Wartine B-25 44-28932 was retired by the US Air Force in 1958. Becoming fire bomber N3476G in Alaska December 1959, the aircraft was sold to the Collings Foundation in 1985. As a warbird, it first flew as 44-28932 "Hoosier Honey" and was re-painted as "Tondelayo" in 2002. The original 41-30669 crashed landed on a beach in Catanduanes Island, Philippines in 1945 with the crew rescued by Filipino guerillas.
