Originally known as Hawaii Wings, the small airline's name was changed to Royal Hawaiian Air Service in 1965. That year a small terminal was built on leased land adjacent the terminal at Honolulu airport. Built in 1969, N4505Q was among the fleet of Cessna 402As connecting Honolulu to Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, and Oahu as well as several smaller destinations. They ceased operating shortly after their lease ran out circa 1985. This aircraft remained in Hawaii with the registration expiring in 2012.
