Noertrange airfield is located on top of a hill, and is used by the local paraclub. Two Cessna 172 and two Ultralight aircraft are visible: 54CB & 54CD

Almost completed major upgrade to the passenger terminal at Bendigo.

The rather small 1980s-vintage passenger terminal at Bendigo. For many years there were no scheduled services to Bendigo and so the terminal was used as a child-care centre.

A large portion of the single engine fleet of the KLM Flight Academy is now parked outside as they are getting replaced by Diamond 40 NG's and additional DA42 NG's.

The last remnant of this little grass strip was this hangar, the windsock pole still apparent on one side. The field was the property of Myron C. Baker, operator of a local orchard, and a charter member of the Ohio Flying Farmers in 1946. Mr. Baker passed away in 1999, but for reasons unknown this field persisted on the FAA active airports lists until 2022, despite being overgrown for much of that time. So many stories this place could surely tell.

Unexpected meeting at Fornebu only a few months before it happened. Tower Air B747-100 N3603FF is on take-off roll rwy 24, while a TWA L-1011 TriStar has been pushed back from gate and will be next to follow for departure. I am sorry, I did not note which TriStar it was at that day.

The noth eastern apron at Fornebu, this was the oldest part of the airport where we usually after 1964 saw either old aircraft, or many General Aviation aircraft. This changed dramatically from May 2 1989 until September 114th 1989 due to the closure of the Charter flights to Gardermoen (ENGM / GEN) due to the need of new surface on the single runway at Gardermoen. So for five exicting months we could see as much as 7 large airliners at this part of FBU. FAA data gives an activation date of November 2013 for this helipad. It is visible in imagery of this location dating back to 2004, however.

The small terminal building (or "administration building," as the plaque puts it) was completed in 1966, and was dedicated to 1st Lt. Curtis Kinney, a local boy who served with the RFC and RAF from 1917 to 1919, as a fighter pilot.
