The 162nd Tactical Fighter Squadron converted from F-100D to A-7D from January 1978. In May 1993 the 162nd hosted a farewell to the A-7D Corsair II and transitioned to F-16C/D. This double oh seven was moved to Holloman (NM) and serves as a range target since the mid ninetees.
