This is the second stint for for my late father with 60 Squadron. This time based at RAF Wildenrath in West Germany flying the Pembroke C1. Delivered to the RAF as XL954 on 08 Aug 1957. To ground instruction at Northolt as 9042M on 18 May 1990. To the US civil register as N4234C on 05 Apr 1991. To G-BXES on 14 Apr 1997. Registration still current in 2023.

Modified with a 400hp engine, a conversion developed in Australia where this aircraft had been used for aerial survey as VH-FLA with a magnetometer atop the fin.
