Originally built for US Navy as J2F-6 Bureau Number 33587. When I took this slide it was owned by Hart Marine, Inc. of Lafayette, LA., and used for offshore oil rig support. Although still marked as a fire tanker, all fire tanker gear had been removed in 1966. Hart owned the aircraft from 1966 - 1969. It is now on display at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio marked as a WW 2 USAAF OA-12.
