Like all DAS aircraft, this too carries additional ANA Aviation Services titles. Originally this aircraft was British Caledonian G-BEBM, delivered in 1977, and following the take-over it went to British Airways in 1988. In 1999 it was acquired by Gemini Air Cargo as N608GC and converted to freighter. DAS Air Cargo bought it in 2003 and operated it for only 3 years. In 2006 it became N811SL and was stored until acquired by Kelowna in 2008 as C-GKFA. They operated it for Purolator Courier until withdrawn from use in early 2015. A few months later it was scrapped at Hamilton, ON, Canada.

Written-off at Bamako on 30th June 96 whilst operating for Air Afrique. A wingtip hit the ground due to windshear, as the aircraft crossed the runway threshold.

The freighter had a nice career. Delivered to Wardair as C-GXRB in 1978, it also flew with Garuda as EI-BZD and LAP Paraguay as N602DC. It was converted to freighter in 1997 and went to DAS Air Cargo, first as N400JR, then as seen here, 5X-JOS. It was sold as N372BC in 2007, and broken up for spares at Châlons Vatry, France shortly thereafter.

Operated by British Caledonian and British Airways as G-BHDI from 1980 till 1999.
