Built for the Venezuela Communications Ministry, but not taken up, Ken Borek bought this Twin Otter September 27, 1974. Stored at Downsview where it was manufactured for several months until leased to Aurora Air Services in Fairbanks, AK February 7, 1975. Returning to Ken Borek in June 1976 and still current with the airline at the time of uploading, there were many leases for this aircraft in between.

This Twin Otter was originally delivered to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as CF-MPC June 24, 1971 and operated with them until October 11, 2000. That's when Kenn Borek Air re-registered it as C-FBBV and put it in service. Photographed here just days before departing for Antarctica to join the summer season of the US Antarctic Program.

The second prototype of the Twin Otter, built in 1966. Acquired by the museum in Dec 2002, and seen here while still on outdoor display. It had been moved indoors by 2008.

Still in Kenn Borek colors and faded titles, this aircraft was stored behind the Buffalo Airways office in downtown Hay River.

The Basler BT-67 is a fixed-wing aircraft produced by Basler Turbo Conversions of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is a retrofitted Douglas DC-3 airframe, with modifications designed to improve the DC-3's serviceable lifetime. The conversion includes fitting the airframe with Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67R turboprop engines, lengthening the fuselage, strengthening the airframe, upgrading the avionics, and making modifications to the wings' leading edge and wing tip (Source: Wikipedia). World War II veteran built as 42-92493 and delivered to the RCAF as FZ694. From the Air Force to Millardair as CF-WTV in 1968, the Dakota returned to the USA in 1985. In 2005, Basler gave it a turbo conversion with Ken Borek bringing it back to Canada in 2009.

Rebuilt in 1952 from R4D-5 BuAer39080, this C-117D served the US Marine Corps until retirement in 1977. Operated by Kenn Borek from their Calgary base from 1994 to 2005.
