Spent its entire career as a flying test bed. 1954: Transferred to Chanute AFB, IL for maintenance and familiarization training. 1994: Placed on display with the Chanute Air Museum. 31 Oct 2015: The museum closed and the following year this plane was transported to the Air Force Flight Test Center Museum at Edwards AFB, CA.
