Presumed destroyed in a sadly fatal accident with the loss of the pilot and 3 passengers in the sea on 21 August 2010. Contact was lost on a Branch River Air charter flight en route from Swikshak River Lagoon to Lake Brooks and King Salmon, AK in conditions of low cloud, restricted visibility and heavy rain. Weeks later a few small pieces of metal from the aircraft and personal effects were found washed up on a beach.

Moored at its base on Lake Hood, with the International Airport's control tower overlooking the scene. Carries the logo of Bush Pilots Air Service on its tail fin. Delivered new to the US Army in 1952 as L-20A 51-16834. Sold on from military service in 1976. Previous civil registrations include N9303Z, N505LM and N114GH. Later reverted to N114GH and was operating with Sea Air Ventures LLC of Anchorage in 2024.

First flew in 1967 as CF-VQI and spent over twenty years bush flying in Quebec. Joined Temsco at Ketchikan in 1989 as N19TH. Acquired in 1994 by Soloy Dual Pac Inc, where it operated as N5010Y, then N32910, acting as a testbed for the certification of a Twin Pac powerplant comprising two P&W PT-6As. Converted by Ketchum in 1997 to a Vazar Turbine Otter, N342KA. Purchased by Pro Mech Air in 2005. Sold to Liard Air in 2009 as C-GNNP. Destroyed, together with two other aircraft, in a tragic Liard hangar fire at Muncho Lake, BC, in 2011.

Half an hour after takeoff, returned on three engines. Built for the USAF as KC-97G 52-2698. Upgraded to a KC-97L in 1964, serving latterly with the Illinois ANG. In 1994 became N345KA of Ketchum Air Service. Joined Seawind Aviation of Ketchikan in 2005. Severely damaged in August 2007 due to a sadly fatal takeoff accident at Traitor's Cove, while returning tourists from a bear-watching expedition. In difficult wind conditions, the aircraft stalled and descended into heavily wooded terrain. A post accident fire destroyed the aircraft's main cabin and fuselage.
