Prior to delivery to Avisto Co. Ltd., operated by Sirte Oil Company. When operating a VFR flight from Tripoli to Marsa Brega Airport on 13th January 2000, the left engine flamed out followed by the right engine at about 4.5 NM from HLMB. The aircraft ditched in the sea, broke apart and sank in a few minutes. 1 crew member out of 3 and 21 passengers out of 38 died. May they rest in peace.
