In July 2010 this plane could not lower its undercarriage and so made an emergency landing onto the grass alongside the runway at Hradec Králové (LKHK) airport. The aircraft was substantially damaged and scrapped although the fuselage hulk was used by the local fire service for training. This was also not required any longer and the remains are now stored at VHTM.

This Grunau Baby is now at restoration at VHTM. Note the cn appears to be incomplete as I could photograph the very worn plate and other numbers may also be visible.

This Bumble Bee was first registered in November 1972 and last flew in June 1996. It is now part pf this super private collection.
