Sweden's ELINT cover was provided by a couple of ex-SAS Caravelles till Gulfstreams took over in the late 1990s. This one was originally SE-DAG, from 12.64 to 11.70. Note the nose and pannier modifications

Here in F13 marks, the J29 was aptly named Tunnan, Swedish for barrel. First time I've seen one in the air for 43 years. Great that the Swedish AF Historic Flight keep examples of all their old jets active.

This early Draken is preserved in F16 marks

A very fine sight indeed, this was the last J35J delivered to the Swedish AF, and is now the only remaining flying example of the incredible Draken, seen here resplendent in F10 marks. The small tail wheels touched the ground first!

The two Swedish AF Sabreliners are rarely seen in public and are used for experimental MAD-type work. The extremely long parallel probes fitted at the front pose a bit of a question to photographers - whether to include or not, a bit like helicopter rotors! I shot it both ways, but this version gives a better view of the aircraft itself
