Remanufactured at Wichita in 1953 by Beech from AT-7 43-3306 to become C-45G 51-11892. Registered N6495D in 1960 and remains current in 2025

This wartime Beech AT-7 Navigation trainer served with the USAAF as 43-33306 with msn 5469. Reconditioned in the early 1950s, it received a new msn AF-449. It was declared surplus in 1963 and was used for transport by the Tennessee Valley Authority, a large federally-owned electric utility corporation serving seven US states. It was seen at Auburn Airport, south of Seattle. The aircraft has since been repainted as a warbird in US Army markings. Currently owned (2022) by Kevin Layva of Wilber, Washington.

I went to Auburn on the off chance that something interesting would present itself before my lens. It wasn't to be, there was lots of GA stuff that all looked the same and this was the only one that was a bit different.
