The Lithuanian National Guard (KASP) operated four ex DOSAAF PZL-104 Wilgas for glider towing. 50 Black was withdrawn and stored at Šilutė by 2003. The National Guard was re-named as the Krasto Apsaugos Savanori Pajegos Aviacjos Rinktive (KASPAR), Voluntary National Defence Service in 2006.

Looking at the paint scheme, it is obvious that this Yak-52 is an ex DOSAAF aircraft. The team at Šilutė was in the process of applying Lithianian Border guard markings on the aircraft during the visit. It has since been transferred to the civil register as LY-AXT.
