HK-4045 was noted early 2020 being repaired and painted at Villavicencio- La Vanguardia (VVC). Reportedly not restored to return to the skies but only for preservation. A white DC-3 fuselage was noted being transported from Villavicencio to Bogota in May 2020. Right around the time a new Mall was constructed close to the main Airport in Bogota. Now on display in the foodcourt of 'Nuestro Bogota'-Mall is this real DC-3. The inside is completely stripped, and redesigned as an interactive playground for children. The name 'Capitán Gerardo Cuello' is painted on the tail.
