This Il-76TD is a former Soviet Air Force Il-76MD. It was delivered as CCCP-86919 on 27 August 1982. It was transferred to Atlant as UR-76319 on 11 September 1996 up to August 2002. Modified to TD the CANDID was sold as EX-86919 to Botir Avia and flew there up to September 2003. East West Cargo took it over as ST-EWC in November 2003. In May 2005 it became Air West Cargo with the same registration. The TD was last noted at Khartoum in January 2008 and by March 2010 it was withdrawn from use. In late September 2013 the aircraft disappeared and was probably broken up.

Parked up on one of the ramps at Sharjah. I thought that from her appearance that she may never fly again, but the An-12 is a tough old bird and she did.......
