Delivered in June 1971. Became N84899 in June 1984. On 22 Nov 1989 the aircraft was doing a pre-delivery test flight at Luqa (Malta) when the port main gear failed to lower. The aircraft was slightly damaged in the ensuing landing. N84899 was then repaired and departed Luqa on delivery to Liberia on 15 December 1989. Its N-registration was cancelled on 18 January 1990. The aircraft was written off in December 1992 during the civil war in Liberia.

Former Royal Air Force Hunter T7 XM118 (but not taken on charge as such), and Royal Netherlands Air Force N-312 (delivered on 21 January 1959). The Hunter was stricken by the KLu in July 1968 and returned to Hawker Siddeley Aviation Ltd. It was converted to Hunter T77A, became G-9-288, and was delivered to the Abu Dhabi Army Air on 12 May 1970. It is seen here getting attention of maintenance wearing shorts only at a apparently hot platform! The aircraft was later sold to Somalia as CC.701 and was possibly last seen on the dump of Hageisa air base (Somalia) in February 1993.
