Still present at the old, closed Szolnoki Repüléstörténeti Kiállítóhely Museum at Szolnok Air Base (LHSN). I took this photo with a ladder over the wall, but got trouble with military police after a while.

Converted to Il-18Gr variant in 1979 and withdrawn from service in December 1988. To Aeropark in November 2006.

This Il-18 was built in December 1962 as an Il-18V but converted to a freighter in 1979. It was retired and made its last flight to Szolnok (LHSN) in April 1987 for display at the Szolnokmuseum. Fortunately or unfortunately, the museum has relocated to a new purposely developed site that does not have space for any of the larger exhibits, particularly non- HuAF ones, and so this beautiful old aircraft has been left behind.

After its flying career this Ilyuschin became a restaurant in Abda, Hungarian village near Gyor.

This Il-18 was built in April 1964 and converted to a Il-18Gr in 1979. The plane was retired in December 1988 and handed over to the Malév educational centre and preserved at Ferihegy airport. In November 2006 it was moved to the Aeropark and has been preserved there ever since.

Delivered as a TU-154 in 1973. Converted to a TU-154B-2 in 1979. Used for cargo from 1991. Withdrawn from use at Budapest in 1994. Used as a ground trainer. Later preserved.

HA-MOI leaving the East apron, on its way to the take-off runway for the return flight to Budapest. It is taxiing with its doors still open, which may indicate it's carrying a cargo of livestock. On such flights the doors are kept open as long as possible to reduce the heat inside the aircraft.
Less than three months after this photo was taken, HA-MOI made its last commercial flight and was later used as a restaurant in Abda, Hungary. In late 2014 it went to the Múzeum letectva Košice.
