Aircraft wears Eastern Air Lines livery but did not fly for EAL and was really owned by the Major League baseball team. The Dodgers used a DC-3 earlier. In 1959 the team shocked New York by becoming the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ties with Eastern Air Lines were not immediately broken, judging by Peter Gates' 1959 picture of N1R.
