This King Air was owned by real estate entrepeneur Bert Verwelius. who died in the crash of his G58 Baron, PH-CJX, at Münster / Osnabrück on 9 August 2018. He was a fan of Ajax, the Amsterdam football club, and all the aircraft he owned wore number 14, the shirt number of legendary player Johan Cruyff.
