Built in 1967, this F-4D served with USAF wings at Eglin AFB, Florida; Udorn, Thailand; Lakenheath, England; Spangdahlem, Germany; and Getafe, Spain. In 1982 it went to the AFRES at Carswell AFB, Texas. From 1988 it flew with the Ogden Air Logistics Center here at Hill AFB, whose colours it still wears. The Hill Aerospace Museum restored it after its final use as a battle damage training asset. This photo is copyright © Peter de Jong, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
