'Kármán Tódor' is pictured, in the original Malév livery of the 1960's. This Li-2 was built in 1949 in Tashkent and flew initially in the Hungarian People's Army and then with Malév from 1958, It was retired in 1974 and put on display in Szolnok, The Goldtimer Foundation started restoration at Budaörs in 1997 and HA-LIX finally took to the skies again in 2001 after 45,000 working hours.
