This 1978-built L-39 was previously '174' with the NVA machine and '28+26' after unification. It went to the HuAF in 1993 until the type was retired from service in 2009. The plane belonged to the Dongó (Hornet) Squadron at Kecskemét and flew from 2005 in a hornet-patterned paint job for the Kecskemét air show but this was soon changed to this shark-themed scheme.
