This aircraft was the last operational Constellation with the US military. It was flown to Florence in the early 1980's for inclusion in the Florence Air Museum collection but allowed to rot in a field adjacent to the museum. The landing gear and engines were used in the restoration of N1005C at the AMC Museum. Uploaded with permission of Jim Leech, AMC Museum. This photo is copyright © Ralph M.
