Aires was later taken over by LAN, and branded LAN Colombia. Now operating as LATAM. The DHC-8 has been upgraded to B737 and later A319 and A320. Medellin operations have since been moved to Rio Negro as these types are to heavy for the city airport Olaya Herrera.
