This Il-18 was delivered on 22nd June 1967 and made its final commercial flight on 25th January 1989. It then was flown to Pápa AB in August 1989 and towed to Abda near Györ to serve as a restaurant (note the prominent slice through the rear fuselage so that the tail could be mounted on the restaurant roof). Fortunately it was dismantled and moved by road in November 2014 to the super Múzeum Letectva Košice where it is now on display. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
