This is the original prototype of the Swearingen SJ-30. It first flew 1991-02-13. Although it flew, the aircraft was never certificated. The project was discontinued shortly after this photo. It was however rescued and resurrected in 1995 with the help of Lockheed and Taiwanese investors. The original version was slightly stretched and became the SJ-30-2.
