"Salmon Ella" seen in better days, parked at Everts' home base. Amazingly this old workhorse was still soldiering on with Everts when on 16 July 2018 it had to make a forced landing at Manley Hot Springs, AK, sustaining serious damage to nose and cockpit. The wreck was dismantled and salvaged, with plans to repair it. Hopefully this wonderful Curtiss will return to the air again one day.
