The registration EP-AVM, which was carried when it first arrived in Australia in March 2005, has now been removed. This aircraft is the Iranian-built modified version of RV-6 and is the only one of this type currently in Australia. At the present time it is being upgraded to the Australian requirements to serve as the production sample for the future AVA-202's to be built in Iran for the Australian market.
