You never forget a C-133 flying over. The rattling of windows and china that preceded by minutes the sound its engines and its distinctive shape. For a few weeks in 1966 they came and went and overflew Sydney carrying materials in a USN communications base being built in Western Australia. The noise and vibration of the C-133 was to be its undoing, greatly shortening its airframe life. 59-0532 was withdrawn in 1971 and scrapped.
