The Douglas XB-43 Jetmaster was a jet development of the XB-42 Mixmaster. Two examples were built. This second airframe, designated YB-43, flew as an engine testbed with one J35 and one J47 engine. It survives and was transferred to the restoration hangars of the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio, in 2010.
