Irvin-Bell Helicopter Sales was one of the first European helicopter operators. On 25 September 1947 G-AKCX crossed the Channel for demonstrations in Belgium, Holland and Switzerland. The Tiger Moths are of the Rijksluchtvaartschool which was based at Ypenburg at this time.
