Had been the prototype (in 1967) for the Stewart-Davis Stolmaster with attachments for as many as three jet engines. N383S crashed on June 6, 1979 in the Banning Pass, Morongo Indian Reservation, just east of Banning, California, when a wing separated from the fuselage.
