Fairey Aviations hangar complex in the NW corner of Ringway with its namesake small village at mid left. From the original 1937 hangar at upper right it grew to six large hangars where 4100 aircraft were assembled during WW2 including Battles, Fulmars, Barracudas, Beaufighters and Halifaxes. Another 300 aircraft were completed postwar.
