This Hip-C was built in August 1973 and delivered to the East German AF as '931' before being modified for SAR duties in Spring 1990. Upon reunification it was allocated the serial '93+17' (9317) and served until around 1994. In October 1997 it was and placed on the Czech civil register and is now preserved at the super Muzeum letecké a pozemní techniky. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
