Two Friendships with serial C-8 are preserved at Eindhoven Air Force Base, one real and one fake. Both aircraft carry the exact same RNAF demo markings. Seen here is the fake one, which is actually C-12 pretending to be C-8. It was painted as such in 2003 and has been on display at the base entrance ever since. The other C-8, the real one, is used for training purposes and is usually hiding in a hangar. The only visible differences between the two aircraft are the spinners and the tips of the props.
