This C-130E (FMS serial 63-13188) was delivered to the USAF in 1964 and first noted with the Turkish Air Force in 1991 (as ETI-088). It carried since 12-188, 13188 and 63-3188 as a serial. But since it was modified by Turkish Aerospace Industries (the first one for the THK) and redelivered to the air force in August 2014 is painted with its full FMS serial. The modernisation involved mainly new avionics and an intensive ouverhaul under the so-called Erciyes programme.
