This Starfighter used to be part of the collection of the former Militaire Luchtvaart Museum (MLM) at Kamp Zeist, and was displayed on a pole along the entrance road to that museum. The museum closed in June 2013 and the inventory was transferred to the collection of the new Nationaal Militair Museum (NMM). This F-104 was recently placed on display as seen here, on an abandoned taxi track at the long closed Soesterberg Air Base, on the west side of road N413, about 200m from the entrance road to the museum.
