A DC-3 with a nose ring. Ordered by Eastern Air Lines as a DC-3-201G but delivered to USAAF as C-49D 41-7719 Oct 1941, before Pearl Harbor. To Sabena on 1 February 1946 and seen here reopening the Brussels - Haren to Zürich service days later. Soon to Sabena Congo. To Air Congo as 9O-CBC in 1961, to 9Q-CBC in 1962. To Congo (Zaire) Air Force in May 1970. Still in service by 1973, but ultimate fate obscure.
