The SG-38 is a German primary training glider from 1938 that was built in large numbers by several manufacturers and gliding clubs. This one was built by Petera, but its German registration is unknown. It was captured in 1945 by allied troops and was one of the almost 300 that ended up in France. Also its French registration is currently unknown. From 1947 most of them were broken-up or destroyed, and by 2018 only 9 remained in France. This one was restored in 2013 by the Espace Air Passion museum. This photo is copyright © Peter Vercruijsse, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
