Travelling from San Fransciso to Los Angeles over the beautful Highway 1, I unexpectedly came across three 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) MH-47Gs at a civil airport named Half Moon Bay. what the secretive helicopters were doing at that location (they are based at Fort Campbell (KY)) was unknown to me, but it made me very happy!
