This Harrier flew previously with VMAT-203 at Cherry Point, NC and was retired to AMARG in October 1987 with the PCN/Inventory No. AN7A0040. The frame has escaped the axeman and in July 2012 it migrated across the road to the Pima Air & Space Museum, where it underwent restoration and refurbishment and is now on display.
