VH-KBU had been used for agricultural flying and as a glider tug before it was photographed in a sad state in the back of hangar in 1970. By 1980 it was back in the air in cream paint and wheel spats. -KBU was last reported dismantled and with its fabric removed undergoing another major rebuild.
