Seen starting a noisy take off roll on 28L this Trident 1 served BEA and British Airways from 1964 until retirement in 1982. After many years of preservation at Cosford it was tragic that she was allowed to be scrapped in 2006 although the cockpit section was saved and is now on display at East Fortune.
