Aurora, is a local airline in the Russian far east, owned by Aeroflot and the local Sakhalin government. Quickly set up when SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia, were about to cease operations in 2014. Now Aurora is the main airline connecting the cities of the Russian Far east. It also operates to about half a dozen international destinations, including Tokyo Narita.
