Overview of San Salvador's airport showing the activity during the mid-day bank of flights when nearly every gate is occupied. This photo shows a pair of Avianca A320s, two ATRs, A330 N968AV just arriving from Lima, 737-800s from American Airlines and Copa, another Avianca A320, but in Star Alliance colors, and two Volaris A320s. A former TACA ERJ-190, one of many parked around the airport, can just be seen at the far right. San Vicente (Chichontepec) volcano overlooks the airport and its new terminal, currently under construction.
