This Fokker F-50 first flew in January 1988 as PH-EXY and entered the Australian Register as VH-FNH on the 10th of February 1988. It was allocated the Indian Registration VT-RAC but the lease did not eventuate, and returned to Ansett Australia in October 1994 it was leased to Skywest Airlines in 2006.
