During a display at Sidmouth on 31 August 1984 XX257's engine failed, resulting in the pilot heading out to sea and ejecting before the aircraft hit the sea. The wreckage was recovered and the fuselage is stored at Charlwood, Surrey. This photo is copyright © Chris Cole, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
