The original registration of this glider is not known, but it was built in 1938. After the war it was captured by British forces and it became RAFGGA521 with the Royal Air Force Germany Gliding Association. In Apr-1972 it became BGA1711. In 1974 it went to the Deutsches Segelflugmuseum at Wasserkuppe. There it was painted as D-12-354.
